How to Add Google Analytics 4 Migrations Services to Your Business

Universal Analytics is going away. Very soon.

And it opens up a rare opportunity for freelancers and agencies.

Don't forget to scroll to the bottom to see an incredible pre-holiday offer!

As of July 1, 2023, Google is shutting down Universal Analytics (Google Analytics 3) and replacing it with Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Not only is this a major shift in the way we will interpret analytics data moving forward (a new event model vs the current page view model), but it's one of the rare times that almost every website on the Internet will need to make a change. This is a seismic event so let me repeat that...

This is one of the rare times that almost every website on the Internet will need to make a change

Now if you stop and think about this statement for a moment, you'll realize three big things:

  1. there are tens of millions of websites that will need to migrate to Google Analytics 4
  2. these tens of millions of websites that will NEED HELP migrating to Google Analytics 4.
  3. this is a golden opportunity for people who know how to migrate from UA to GA4 to make a fortune, all while providing a service that everyone will need. And the best part is, you can blame Google!

According to renlon.com, 56% of all website use Google Analytics, which equals around 28.1 million websites. And that is a lot of potential customers.

Demand (and urgency) will only increase.

With the July 1, 2023 shut-off deadline getting closer every day, the demand for people who can help migrate websites to GA4 will only increase. I can only imagine the wave of migration requests that freelancers and agencies will get next year from businesses that urgently need help. And as we all know, what's urgent and in demand can be more expensive.

Their dashboards will go blank

Once July 1 hits, people who haven't migrated their websites to GA4 will find their universal analytics dashboard blank, with no new data coming in.

If you know how (or learn how) to migrate from Universal Analytics to GA4, it will be a golden year for you.

Remember, there are MILLIONS of companies that still haven't migrated to GA4, and they will need YOUR help with the installation and configuration. More clients = more projects = more hours billed = more revenue. Oh, and what's great is that Google is doing all of the marketing promotion for you!

Here's what you can do RIGHT NOW to start making Google Analytics 4 a win-win for you and your clients:

  1. Get in touch with your current clients and explain to them that Google is turning off GA3 and that you offer GA4 migration services. Be sure to underscore that it's GOOGLE who is forcing the change on everyone, and that you're here to help make sure that they don't miss out on data.
  2. Get in touch with your former clients and tell them the same thing. It's a great way to reconnect with old clients and possibly renew the relationship and generate more new business.
  3. Get in touch with the leads on your email marketing list. Be an advocate for them. Tell them that Google is getting rid of GA3 and that they need to talk to their web people to make sure that their websites are migrated to GA4. I can almost guarantee that people will reply that their current agency hasn't said a word to them about GA4 and that they will need your assistance. Or even better, how many of the people on your list are in-between agencies or don't have someone helping them with website maintenance? Remember, migrating isn't optional and they will need someone to help them. Why not you?

Prevent the panic

There will be countless last-minute panic GA4 migration requests in the spring and summer of 2023. Thus, you can stress to people that as the migration deadline gets closer that it will be more and more difficult to find someone who can migrate them in. Explain that as July approaches freelancers and agencies with GA4 skills will be overwhelmed with the demand and that business who don't migrate may need to wait until after the deadline to find someone who can help them (e.g. they lose data).

I can help you learn how to be a Google Analytics 4 Migration expert.

At first glance, the migration is not an easy task as GA4 is completely different than Universal Analytics and has its own way of doing things and its own nuances. For example, gone are UA- IDs and in are Data Streams.

And this is where I can help you with my Google Analytics 4 Migration Training course.

My videos walk you through:

  • Customer communication
  • GA3 goals inventory check
  • GA4 account setup
  • Google Tag Manger setup
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) installation on WordPress
  • Google Analytics 4 setup with GTM
  • Creating GA4 conversions
  • ....and much more

You also get:

  • Our fill-in email templates to send to your client at the start and completion of your migration
  • Our Google Analytics 4 migration checklist and video guide
  • Our Google Analytics 4 Agency Migration sheet that we use at our agency to track all of our client migrations. The sheet allows you to document your clients' current UA status and implementation, progress with GTM, where they are in the migration process (contacted, permission given, in progress, etc, and so much more. We run all of our agency's migration on this Google Sheet.

Step-by-step training courses that provide this much (unlimited and reusable) value often cost hundreds or thousands of dollars.

As we are looking to make our course go viral and secure thousands of reviews from customers who are killing it with GA4 migrations - for a limited time - you can get the entire training package with unlimited, lifetime access for only $17.

Yes, that's not a typo. Only $17 for the entire training methodology, process and sheets.

And before you check out the Google Analytics Migration Training course, think about these numbers: our agency currently charges $299 for a basic GA4 migration (no Google Ads to migrate and <10 conversion to setup). If you charge only a fraction of that fee for your first customer migration, you instantly make back your investment. After that, every migration is profit, and as you get more comfortable doing the migrations (and as demand increases), you will raise your fees.

Use coupon code CHILL17 to claim your discount (you can apply the coupon at checkout),

So go ahead right now and check out the Google Analytics Migration training course today. Use the code CHILL17 and make 2023 your own Google Analytics "Golden Year".
